Abstract
In a comprehensive survey article (Continuous functions, Real Analysis Exchange 2 (1977), 85-103), J. Foran has raised several interesting questions related to some classes of continuous functions.
In the following, we are dealing with three of these questions.
As a part of our approach we will settle in the negative three of Foran's conjectures.
